Therapist Spaces
For Those Who Hold Space
Therapists are often the ones holding space for others — but here, we hold space for each other. Our therapist circles are designed for reflection, rest, and connection with peers who understand the joys and challenges of this work. These gatherings remind us that we don’t have to navigate the journey of care alone.
Support circles
Creating Communities Of Support
At Unmasking Collective, we regularly host support groups on a wide range of topics related to grief, mental health, and lived experiences. We believe that support groups are a vital complement to individual therapy, offering a space to share experiences, reduce feelings of isolation, and build meaningful connections.
We have held events and support groups on topics such as:
- Supervised Mock Therapy: weekly supervised role-play sessions for MA students and early-career therapists to practice being a therapist, client, or observer, reflect, and receive kind, constructive feedback from the group, which includes therapists and peers with a wide range of experience and modalities.
- After Hours: A space for therapists and mental health professionals to come together, reflect and talk about our aspects of work, beyond the therapy hour.
- Peer Supervision Circles: Weekly spaces for reflection, learning, and support for practitioners.
Upcoming Therapist Spaces
Join us in our next circles, each designed to hold space for sharing and belonging.
Community
We recognize the isolation and loneliness that therapists can experience while holding client stories. That’s why we host dedicated spaces for therapists: places of warmth, peer support, and understanding, to unmask and reconnect with themselves.
Our Peer Supervision Circles offer room to reflect on client work and professional development with care and collaboration. Alongside them, our Afterhours Circle is a raw, real, and fun environment where therapists can connect with their humanness, and explore the conversations we don’t often get to have.
